This ancient spiritual path has grown very popular thanks to its beneficial effects both mentally and physically.


As most people know it builds strength and flexibility, prevents stress and increases mental focus. It might also improve digestive problems and certain medical conditions such as high blood pressure and asthma.


On a deeper level it can help release memories of past experiences lodged in different areas of the body as well as purify/detox muscles and organs.

With time and regular practice yoga leads to a general experience of lightness and clarity.

My style of teaching focuses on the individual person since we
are all unique and have different ambitions with our practice.

By tailoring the yoga practice and postures to the person we can
prevent injuries and achieve a high degree of functional fitness
in combination with relaxation and peace of mind.

In the words of Krishnamacharaya, father of the modern day yoga:
"Adapt the yoga to the individual, not the individual to the yoga"

 


Yoga can be practiced by anyone regardless of age and physical status. It is only a matter of adjusting the practice so it gives us the benefits we want and need.

This is where the true essence of yoga lies;
- to truly listen to, tune into and become one with ourselves.
